Kendra's 6th Birthday

This day was all about Kendra. She chose to have french toast for breakfast. She asked all the girls in our family to wear a dress on her birthday. We would do anything to help her feel special.
Corinne, Connor, and I brought cupcakes to her class.

Corinne likes to visit school, and eat cupcakes too.

Beautiful Birthday Girl!
After school, we stopped by the Chadwick's house. Jessica made Kendra special Chinese Birthday Tea.
Then we came home. When Camryn was home, and Corinne was napping, we played paper dolls.
Then we went out to eat. Kendra saw Chinese dumplings on Kai Lan and wanted to try them. So she chose to go to a Chinese restaurant. After dinner, we went back home for presents.
Camryn chose this doggie purse for Kendra.
Then we had cake. Kendra chose Carrot Cake. It was yummy!

Kendra is such a sweet, special girl. I love her smile. I love her laugh. I am so lucky to be her mommy!

Birthday Party

Both Camryn and Kendra have September birthdays. On their birthday, we usually do a family thing. We also try to do something with friends on another day.
We had our first sleep over party with our favorite friends. The girls all put make-up on first thing.
Then they got to decorate cupcakes.

After that, we all got cozy downstairs to watch a movie. We had candy for the kids to eat during the show, but the Chadwick girls wanted sliced apples instead.
I guess they'd already had their fill of sugar. Sugar, make-up, and girl-time. It was a fun girly girl night!

Camryn's 8th Birthday

It's all about the birthday girl on her day! Camryn chose to have pancakes for breakfast.

After breakfast, it was off to school. In the afternoon, Kendra, Corinne, Connor, and I went to visit Camryn's class and bring cupcakes.
Beautiful Birthday Girl!
That night, Camryn got to choose where to go out to eat.
She chose the Golden Corral, for obvious reasons.
There was a baloon artist there, and each of our girls got a special animal baloon.
Then we headed back home for presents.
Kendra picked out this guitar as a gift for Camryn.

In addition to these presents, Camryn got to choose her own set of scriptures and a scripture bag. She also got to pierce her ears. She was brave and loves her earings.

It's hard to believe that my big girl has turned 8 years old. She is so mature. I am so proud of the girl she is growing to be. I am so lucky to be her mom.

Fist Day of School

Kendra was super excited to start her first day of Kindergarten!
Camryn was excited too. She was ready to see what our new school is like and meet new friends.
I stopped by the school and took a couple pictures. I caught Camryn's class getting a tour of the school.
I caught Kendra reading a book with a new friend.
After school, Kendra and I walked up to the bus stop to meet Camryn.

Off to a great start!

Hoggle Zoo

Grandma LaRee Petersen took us all to the Hoggle Zoo in Utah. She took our family, as well as Nicole's family, and Mickell. We started with a train ride through the zoo.
I think these pictures speak for themselves.

 .
I'd say the favorite that day was the Polar Bear. He was swimming around putting on a show. Corinne and Marley probably still liked the monkey's best. It was a fun day. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for such a special treat!

Connor's First Haircut

Connor has lots of hair.
Back at the beginning of August, when Connor was 3 1/2 months old, he was already due for his first haircut. We started with a bath.

Now, being a single boy with 3 big sisters, Connor has to learn to deal with girl stuff. He does not have to wear pink pajamas or sleep on pink bedding, but he does have to bathe in a pink bath. We hope he will turn out ok.

After his bath, I cut his hair.
 He was still all smiles.

The handsome men in our family.
At 3 1/2 months, Connor has also started something else. He is already rolling over. He rolls from his stomach to his back sometimes, but from his back to his stomach often. He's our awesome little dude!

Swimming with our new friends

Since moving here to Pocatello, we have made some AWESOME friends, the Chadwicks.  They have four girls, so we all have a friend. Even Kent and I each have a good friend with the girls' dad and mom.
They had us over for a swimming party.

Mix water and dirt with our girls, and you get a ton a fun!

Thanks to the Chadwick's for an super fun day!
