Fun Stuff

Life is so busy. We have been having fun in our little bit of spare time. Here is an update of the last month.

Special Package

This arrived in the mail for Camryn and Kendra.

My family knows what Jr. Birdman is all about. For those of you who don't, it is a song. This is how it goes (to my best recollection):

Up in the air, Jr. Birdman. Up in the air, upside down.

Up in the air, Jr. Birdman. Keep your noses of the ground.

When you hear the grand announcement, that the wings are made of tin

you can bet your bottom dollar that the box tops are turned in.

It takes 5 boxtops, 4 wrapper, 3 coupons, 2 bottle caps, and 1 thin dime...

ZOOM

Oh, yeah, and you have to do this when you sing it.This song has been sung in my family since my mom was a little girl. While we were in Yellowstone the girls gathered their 5 boxtops, 4 wrappers, 3 coupons, 2 bottle caps, and dime (with Daddy's help) and gave them to Grandma to send in. Days later, the girls received this package in the mail. Inside was also a certificate making them a part of the Jr. Birdman club.

It was all the girls talked about and played with for the next two weeks. Thanks Grandma. We love you.

Lamas

We visited Grandma and Grandpa Petersen, and had all sorts of fun. We got free breakfast at Pride Days. We barbecued baby back pork ribs at home. The girls played and played. Kent and I got to leave the kids with Grandma and Grandpa and go to a movie. Lots of fun stuff.

We also got a special treat, when the neighbor stopped by while exercising his lamas.

It was another great trip to Blackfoot.

Denning Reunion

We went down to Utah for the Denning reunion. It starts with lunch and games at a park.

We had fun digging for treasures in saw dust.

Kendra is near center in the white, pink, and blue striped tank top.

Camryn's age group got to go next.

That's Camryn in the turquoise shirt and tan shorts.

Check out her loot bag!

Even the adults got to give it a try.

Corinne got to look cute and give lots of smiles.

Later that evening, we all got to go swimming. They rented the whole water park. It was a blast!

4th of July

The girls got all cute in red, white, and blue. We walked down to CSI to watch the local firework show. Then we came back and did our own fireworks.

The girls LOVED every part of our 4th of July this year.

We are still working on our kitchen (and by we, I mean Kent). It is looking AMAZING! I can't wait to post pictures!

That is some of our recent doings. I hope everyone is enjoying summer!
