Some cuteness from Corinne

Today, it was snowing lightly. Corinne walked outside and said excitedly, "Look, Mom, snow! It is raining snow from the sky!" We woke up to snow on the ground once already this year, but this is the first time this year she saw it falling. Pretty darn cute to hear her describe it.

Last month she described something else to me in her cute way. The poor girl got the stomach flu for the first time. Throwing up was not easy for her, and she fought it at first. Kent helped her, and had to tell her to just let it come out. The next morning, she told me all about it. She said, "Mom, I choked three times. I choked and my belly hurt, and my food was going the wrong way." It was so sad and so so cute at the same time. She's our sweet girl!

Corinne Turns 3

My sweet, spunky Corinne was so excited for her birthday. For months she had been saying, "I say hi to Chuck-E- Cheese on my birthday." So we made the drive down to Utah to fulfill her birthday wish. Her cousins, Marley and Kaydence came to join in the celebration.
She is pointing to Chuck-E-Cheese just after he came out. He came over and said hi, and she was so excited. She gave him a hug and was grinning from ear to ear. Then she, with her sisters and cousins, followed him up and danced with him. It was so fun and absolutely adorable.
After pizza, we let the kids loose to play.

Nicole and I love to get our kids and ourselves together. It is always a great time!
I'm quite sure those are the two most handsome boys on the planet.
Everyone loved air hockey.

After we were all played out, and the kids collected some fun prizes with their tickets, we headed to Grandma Joy's house. She had a full party ready for us, with decorations, games, and all.
She started helping the girls decorate crowns.

Then we played pin the crown on the princess.

Grandma Joy made this adorable cake for the birthday girl.
She also made a big cake for the rest of us, and we couldn't get enough of it. It was delicious!
After cake, we moved on to presents.

Corinne is such a princess, and her favorite princess is Rapunzel. She got a doll and matching dress. These are her favorite presents: her dress, Rapunzel doll, and phone.
Later, she used some birthday money from Grandma Joy and picked out this Minnie Mouse outfit.

She also got to celebrate with Grandma Petersen on another day, who got her a beautiful pink dress-up dress, jewelry, and a Rapunzel Barbie. Corinne couldn't get enough girly princess stuff this year. She loved it all.

Happy Birthday to my little princess. I love you so much!

Silly Kids

"Take a picture of me," this is Corrine's new thing. Then next comes, "Take a picture of my silly face."
This is repeated as long as you are willing to continue taking pictures.

Pretty cute silly faces, if you ask me.

Camryn and Kendra celebrated Dr. Seuss Day at their Elementary School with a crazy hair day.
We combined pipe cleaners, hair ratting, and hairspray to come up with these fancy do's.
Now this is the most hadsome silly man I have ever seen.
His sister sure loves him too.

Valentine's Day Roller Skating Field Trip

Camryn's class took a field trip for their Valentine's Day Party to Deleta to go roller skating. I was lucky enough to get to join them.

Camryn played the limbo.
 Check out her skills!
 My beautiful girl!
Kendra also had fun at her class Valentine Party. Sadly, I didn't get to be there. She sure looked cute for it though!
I made each of my kids big sugar cookies for Valentine's Day.

Even Connor got to eat some!
I love each of my kids so much! Happy Valentine's Day!

Winter Fun

Camryn and Kendra wanted to make a snow cave. We had been piling the snow each time we shovelled, until it was big enough for them. They did and awesome job digging it out, not giving up despite getting pretty wet and cold.

Camryn made this snowman all by herself. The only thing I helped with was the face.
Connor stayed warm. Warm enough to fall asleep in his high chair.

Corinne loves this pig towel, but she loves her pillow pet pig even more. She cannot sleep without it. This pig is her absolute favorite.
