Blessings

We finally got the opportunity to bless each of our three girls. My family came up for the special weekend. My mom, dad, Nicole, Travis, Kaydence, Marley, Dane, and Mickell all came up to help work on our house on Saturday.
All of these pictures are thanks to my sweet sister, Nicole. I didn't take any. She's a lifesaver.
While we worked, the kids played.
Kaydence and Kendra all dressed up, as usual.
Marley and Corinne are so cute together. Marley is throwing toys into Corinne's bed.
She got her quite a few.
Corinne was pretty happy.
Marley is so darn cute. She has so much personality. Mickell was helping to get Marley to pose for this picture.
I'm not sure who wins for best personality.
That is me in the yellow in the background. We were finally getting to painting the rest of our kitchen.
Here is video of what went into getting that picture.

While the girls worked on odds and ends upstairs, the men worked hard hanging sheet rock in our basement. They did the whole thing, ceiling and all.
Every single one of those guys worked hard all day. Especially my dad, he kept going and going. It took all of us to get my dad to stop working at about 10pm.

Nicole took on another challenge (in addition to all the other stuff she did), she washed the girls. All five of them.
On Sunday, we dressed all our girls in white for their blessings. More family came. We were joined by Joy and Howard, Grandma and Grandpa Petersen, and Jonathan and Jessica.
Kent was able to give Camryn, Kendra, and Corinne a name a blessing. It was so special. The girls were telling everyone about it all week.
.
We got some pictures outside the church.
Corinne was being difficult.Grandma Lincoln had the magic (she gave Corinne some smarties).

It was such a special weekend, full of reminders of how blessed we truly are. Thanks so much to my family for all of their help. We never wouldn't have been able to get it done without you.
Thank you for sharing such a special time with us.

Out of This World

I am behind on blogging, but I wanted to make a quick announcement. We are expecting baby #4, due May 5th. That makes me only 7 weeks along. This morning, I was looking at my week by week pregnancy book. Kendra came and wanted to see. I showed her what our baby looks like right now.
Kendra looked for a moment, then said, "Mom, can we look at a human baby?"

These are not the same pictures we looked at, but this should be close to what our baby looks like.

Water Party for the Birthday Girls

Camryn and Kendra both wanted to have a water birthday party this year. We decided to do a combined party again. We found cool water slides, sprinklers and water balloons. Everything was tied to a water theme.

Then it was chilly and windy with a chance of rain.

Plan B

We started at our house with presents.

Birthday cakes and silly kids

Then we took all the kids to Hop 2 It. The girls were not disappointed at all.

They played and jumped and ran around. Kent got all the kids some cotton candy.

It was a fun time, full of smiles.
Maybe we can have a water party another time.
