Two Day Update!!

I thought I'd give everyone an update on our kitchen! If I were like most people, We'd be three or four days from being finished.... BUT, I'm NOT!!! I like things a certain way! So.... My AMAZING husband still has to sand these BRAND NEW cabinets, prime and paint them, then Antique them. After which, he still has to tile, wire new lights and switches, fix the ceiling, and install countertops. WISH HIM LUCK!!! OH! Did i mention that he's the handsomest man on the planet?? AND smart too!!

It has begun

Yesterday, I leave for work. I leave a very outdated and akward kitchen, but a kitchen that is functional. I get a call at work that our new cabinets will be in sooner than expected. I come home to this:
Our kitchen is demoed
(think...it will be worth it in the end.....it will be worth it in the end..)

Man, my husband is a hard worker.

Yellowstone

We got to go to Yellowstone National Park with my family. My mom, dad, Dane, Mickell, and Jonathan were there with us.

The first day we toured the town. We checked out lots of souvenir shops.

The next day we all piled into our minivan and drove into the park. We saw tons of wildlife.

We stopped to have a picnic lunch. If you cannot tell, it was freezing. We actually saw snow falling at one point during the day. But we're tough, we still had fun.

Camryn and Kendra were both so excited to see all the animals and geysers. My parents brought some binoculars, which made it even better.

Dane and Mickell were awesome. They are the best uncle and aunt. Kendra was carried by one of them most of the time.

Corinne got all bundled up for the cold weather. I kept trying to carry her facing towards my body to block the wind from her face. She was not having it though. She wanted to see.
What a cutie!

Camryn was so excited to see Old Faithful.
She was excited for the whole trip. She got her camera ready before we left by making sure she had room in the memory for lots of pictures.

Her camera does not have zoom, and she got frustrated when she couldn't take pictures of things further away.
She's pretty crafty, and tried to find a solution.
In the end, I told her I would take pictures of the things far away.

Grandma was getting some good talking and smiles from Corinne in the van on the way back.

My parents got this extra nice room as part of their time share. It was more than just a room, it had this main area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen. We had fun there too.
There was an indoor pool, which Camryn and Kendra LOVED! Corinne got her first try in a pool, which she didn't seem to impress her too much.

The girls are ready to swim!

In our room, I made 7 watch bands. My mom has really gotten all of us into this.
I made these just from her left over beads.

Mickell took care of Corinne a bunch, especially while I was making watch bands.

The next day we went to the Bear and Wolf Discovery Center.

The bears were really active. We had to get a little on video.

We found 2 scary bears in the bear traps.

There was a small playground there that we played on too.

We had a great time. Thanks so much Mom and Dad!
