Concerts

I recently got to go to a few concerts. At the first one, there was quite a few bands, but I went to see Seether. It was a fun, outdoor concert. The next day, I was flying out of Boise on a trip to Seattle. You would never guess who I ran into at the Boise airport. Yes, Shaun Morgan, the lead singer/guitar player for Seether. I was a bit star struck, but I did walk up to him and tell him that was an awesome concert the night before. He was really nice and said he appreciated it. I didn't want to bug him for an autograph or photo (I even had my camera), but now I am really regretting that. Seether
In Seattle, I got to go to a concert to see Hinder, Staind, and 3 Doors Down. Both concerts were standing room only. We really got up close for this one. It was awesome. I already liked Staind, but now I like them so much more. I went out and bought their new album the next day.

note: None of these pictures are from the concerts; I just threw them in for your viewing pleasure.

Tagged

So I am finally doing it. Thanks Nicole.

THREE FEARS:
1. Seeing my kids in pain, physical or emotional.
2. Ferocious cats (lions, tigers, etc.)
3. The unknown

THREE JOYS:
1. My girls. I love to play with them, run around the house with them, make them laugh, and get hugs and kisses.
2. The love of my Father in Heaven and Savior, Jesus Christ.
3. Spending time with my family.

THREE OBSESSIONS
1. Running, though life has gotten in the way a bit, I still LOVE it!
2. Being a perfectionist. If I do it, I try to do it well.
3. Pictures of my kids. I love to scrapbook them, post them, and share them. A great picture is invaluable.

THREE RANDOM FACTS:
1. I am a planner--see fear #3
2. I am a morning person. Later than 7:00 am is sleeping in, even on the weekend.
3. I am really ticklish, but you better not try it. You just might get kicked. I will do anything physically possible to get away from you.

THREE GOALS:
1. That my kids grow up with the knowledge of my love for them and of their infinite individual worth.
2. Go through the temple.
3. Run a FULL marathon, all 26.2 miles.

Chapstick Wars

Sisters, two years apart in age. What one loves, the other seems to find new appreciation for as well. Here is Camryn, with one of her new loves, her Tinkerbell chapstick. This is what Camryn did to Kendra when Kendra decided she was going to take that chapstick away and not give it back.
Yup, thats one bad bite mark. Camryn actually bit Kendra on the face. Camryn is in big trouble. Girls fight dirty.

Back Home

I moved back home at the beginning of August. Yes, I mean back home, in with Mom and Dad. I am lucky they are so willing to take me back. My entire family has been such a great help. I have been working a lot, and they are making it so much easier. They are helping SO much with Camryn and Kendra, and even with our dog Bailey. I haven't been able to do any posts for awhile, but here is an update on things that we have been doing.
My parents have an amazing garden. They have wonderful zucchini, lettuce, peas, and greenbeans we are enjoying right now. There is also corn, tomatoes, peppers, and lots of other stuff. I mentioned the zucchini. They have lots and lots, so I started making zucchini bread. I have been making 4 loaves at a time, and they sure don't last long. Here is Camryn enjoying a piece for breakfast.

My family gets to irrigate. I don't know who enjoys it more, my kids or my dog, Bailey. Looks like dad is enjoying squirting Dane a bit too. Notice the garden in the background.

Lots of fun stuff to play with at Grandma's house. Kendra is sporting the Mickey pirate ears while Dane is Goofy the pirate. Suites him well, don't you think? Both he and Mickell are really great at playing with my girls.
I am so grateful for my family. I don't know what I would do without their love, support, and help. Thanks guys!

Richardson Cabin in Wolverine

My family spent a weekend at the cabin in Wolverine. We had such a great time together.
Camryn and Kendra sure love their cousin Kaydence. Kendra learned to say "baby Kaydence." They had tons of fun playing together.

This is where Kendra likes to be most of the time, right in my lap. She is such a momma's girl. That look is a warning: "Do not take me away!"
Camryn had a blast. She loves everyone in the family so much, and the feeling is mutual. She also loves the outdoors, so this was a perfect weekend for her.

Jonathan is such a great brother. He is one you can always to go to if you need help or protection. That is unless he has a perfect opportunity to torment you. Sweet, trusting Mickell was just thrown in the creek by her big brother, Jonathan (okay, maybe Mickell got him a little wet first).

Then he and Troy gang up on Dad. I think Dad was asking for this one though.

Mickell got to bring a good friend of hers. They are both such sweet hearts.

These guys were helping me test out my new camera. We were playing with some of the different shooting modes. I love my new camera!
Nicole and Travis look pretty tough, huh. Too bad Troy and I smoked 'em in this game.
These guys just watched the smoking.
My girls love their grandma. They weren't so fond of pictures though.

Travis helped Camryn roast and eat marshmellows. She sure looks up to her uncles.
Check out Nicole's and Amanda's blogs for more details on our trip. They talk about lots more fun stuff we did.
It was a wonderful weekend. Family and the great outdoors, there isn't much better than that.
